Dear Northeast Boating Subscriber,

All voyages have a beginning and an end. It is with heavy heart that I deliver the news that the voyage started by Northeast Boating Magazine (the former Offshore) is now over. The economic “perfect storm” that has affected so many of you has proved too long and too deep for our magazine. The December/January issue of Northeast Boating was our last.

There is a bright spot, however: Soundings Magazine will automatically fulfill the remainder of your subscription. Based in Essex, Conn., Soundings has been publishing for 45 years and its editorial team, led by Bill Sisson and his network of writers, know their way around these waters. Covering the Atlantic seaboard for serious boaters, Soundings has the best listings of boats for sale and waterfront real estate and regional editorial coverage of any boating title in America.

If you already receive Soundings, your subscription will be extended by the amount of time left on your Northeast Boating subscription. I am confident you will enjoy the “new voyage.”

I want to thank you for your loyalty and support these many years. It has been an honor to be welcomed into your homes and aboard your boats each month.

If you have questions, please contact Soundings' circulation manager, Claire Brayfield at: cbrayfield@soundingspub.com or call her at (860) 767-3200 ex. 238.

Fair Winds,

Dick Royer
